Rep. Matt Gaetz associate working toward plea deal with prosecutors

Gaetz speaks to members of the media outside the hearing Michael Cohen former attorney and fixer for President Donald Trump testifies at before the House Committee on Oversight and Reform at Rayburn House Office Building

At a court hearing in Orlando, Greenberg's attorneys and prosecutors said they expected a plea deal to resolve charges including sex trafficking of a child, aggravated identity theft and wire fraud, according to local media. The allegations have had Gaetz looking for any allies to come to his defense, including former President Donald Trump.

A person briefed on the probe confirmed to CNN that federal authorities were investigating Gaetz as part of a broader probe into trafficking allegations against another Florida politician, an investigation that began in the closing months of the Trump-era Justice Department under Attorney General William Barr.

A former staffer for Bill Clinton's administration, Clyde Taylor, started the PAC; he tweeted a photo of the billboard to Gaetz and asked how he liked it, the Northwest Florida Daily News reports.

The Daily Beast reports Gaetz paid Greenberg $900 via Venmo in May 2018, and then Greenberg transferred the same exact amount to three women, who were all under 18 at the time.

Gaetz's communication director, Luke Ball, resigned last week.

"I am sure Matt Gaetz is not feeling very comfortable today", he said. The memo was signed "The Women of the Office of U.S. Congressman Matt Gaetz".

Marc Mukasey and Isabelle Kirshner will lead the Florida Republican's legal team, a Gaetz spokesperson said in a statement Friday.

California plans to lift most pandemic restrictions June 15
However, masking will still be required in many circumstances, and social distancing will be recommended. So, that may explain why Outside Lands made a decision to go with Halloween weekend.

The Times last Thursday reported more details.

The federal investigation targeting Gaetz is specifically looking into whether he and an associate in his home state of Florida provided cash or other things of value to women they had sex with after connecting online, sources have told ABC News.

According to the Times, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has begun to question witnesses about whether the women on the trip were having sex with the men in exchange for free travel.

Matt Gaetz who is now facing sex trafficking charges, is considering taking a plea deal - which Greenberg's attorney hinted could involve Greenberg cooperating with the federal government's investigation into allegations involving Gaetz.

There's evidence that the minor, who Greenberg has already been indicted for trafficking, is the same girl Gaetz is suspected of having sex with, sources said.

"Yes, marijuana entrepreneur and hand surgeon, which means he can cure your carpal tunnel and turn your thumb into a bong", Colbert cracked on Thursday's Late Show, later adding that Pirozzolo allegedly paid for the travel expenses, the accommodations, and female escorts.
