And McGrath said Cuomo referred to the two women as "mingle mammas" after the topic of a planned trip to Florida by the pair came up in his presence.

Amid probes into sexual misconduct allegations and a pandemic-related nursing home scandal linked to embattled NY Governor Andrew Cuomo, a previous report claimed that accounts of the governor's interactions with staff showed him berating aides and elected officials, occasionally threatening to fire them or destroy their careers.

KAREN HINTON, who worked for Cuomo when he was Clinton's federal housing secretary in the 1990s, said Cuomo gave her an overly long and intimate hug after calling her to his hotel room for a conversation that turned to personal topics on a trip where she was serving as a consultant to the housing agency. Gov. Andrew Cuomo says scientists at Mount Sinai Hospital identified the case and it was verified by the state Department of Health.

McGrath is an administrative assistant at the governor's office. In 2019, she has been listed as an administrative assistant who gets pais $64,383.

"She recalled him telling her she was lovely - in Italian - and, as she sat alone with him in his office awaiting dictation, he gazed down her shirt and commented on a necklace hanging there", The New York Times reported Friday.

She said she swiftly complained to Cuomo's chief of staff and was transferred to another job. She later asked her parents what the phrase he told her menat, and her parents informed her that he was commenting about her beauty.

She had called Cuomo's office a toxic workplace. "I was afraid he would escape accountabilty", Kim told the crowd, adding that he lost his uncle to coronavirus in a nursing home. She said, "He didn't start speaking, so I looked up to see what was going on. And he was blatantly looking down my shirt".

Only 16 governors in the USA have ever been ousted through impeachment, said lawyer and professor Ross Garber, who has represented governors facing impeachment in Alabama, Connecticut and SC.

McGrath did not accuse the governor of inappropriate touching, but described a time when she was sitting alone with Cuomo for a dictation session when she caught him gazing at her. There's a picture of him with McGrath and another woman with his arms wrapped around the women from the night of party.

Cuomo lawyer Rita Glavin responded by reiterating his denials of inappropriate advances and touching.

According to the New York Times, federal investigators are probing whether Cuomo's administration provided false information to the Justice Department past year that intentionally downplayed the grave nursing home situation.
