B.C.’s COVID-19 updates for Feb. 23

The local health department reported that 8,357 females and 7,679 males in Hays County have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Also, 30 new cases were confirmed, alongside 18 recoveries.

In Oklahoma, the most recent data available from the state health department show about 3% of people who have gotten both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine are Black, compared to over 70% who are white.

Kyle has recorded 5,214 total cases, including 253 active cases.

"This is the case whether at work, at school or at home", said health officials in a statement.

Continuing a trend of slowing covid cases, this was the 11th consecutive day with newly reported cases below 300 in the county.
