Microsoft's Microsoft xCloud game streaming service goes live with 150 games

xCloud renamed to Cloud Gaming, launches tomorrow with 150+ games - MSPoweruser

Microsoft has announced its xCloud game streaming service will include more than 150 titles at launch.

(Pocket-lint) - Project xCloud, the cloud gaming platform from Xbox, has been rebranded ahead of its full launch tomorrow, Tuesday 15 September. As per the intro, xCloud goes live in 22 countries today but will roll out further as Microsoft ensures service stability and scalability in the initial markets.

xCloud has been bundled up with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscription service for free and will come as an update to the Game Pass app for Android devices.

UAE, Bahrain FMs Arrive in Washington to Sign Peace Deal with Israel
A week ago, an Arab League ministerial meeting failed to adopt a Palestinian draft condemning the UAE-Israel normalization deal. Bank Hapoalim said in a statement that it had signed the agreement with the National Bank of Dubai last week.

The list of titles includes Gears 5, Destiny 2, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Grounded, Sea of Thieves, Darksiders III, Ark: Survival Evolved, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

According to the press release, the partnership will facilitate the sales of Games Pass Ultimate and Xbox All Access subscriptions worldwide. And players don't have to worry about leaving left behind when cross-play is finally added to the game; since Minecraft Dungeons on Xbox Cloud Gaming is just the Xbox version of the game, cross-play will work perfectly even with touch controls enabled. Well, we now know that the service is officially launching tomorrow, and it has a pretty long list of games that will be available to play at launch.

xCloud gives players the ability to stream a selection of Xbox and PC games on their Android mobile phone or tablet. This makes Minecraft Dungeons one of the first games to use touch controls, and it's one of the better suited games to make the transition. It is still now in Beta stage, but available to everyone who is now an Ultimate member, alongside any other users that sign up to the service. It's unclear at the moment whether the likes of Microsoft will actually bring their streaming tech to Apple's devices.
