Halle Berry knocked her sales pitch out of the park with Netflix as the streaming giant is about to pay heavily for the distribution rights to her directorial debut.

The Oscar winning actor has stepped behind the camera for Bruised, a gritty drama in which she plays a boxer. "I think it was that buzz that got people interested, which then led us to Netflix. I can't stress enough the importance of festivals and especially this festival". "When I first read the script three or four years ago, it was written with a 25 to 30-year-old, Irish-Catholic girl".

Talking roughly her wellness concerns, Halle, who has Nahla, 12, and Maceo, six - admitted: I do detect in danger.

Quick-strike Lightning beat Islanders, on verge of final
Pelech's shot caromed in off the far post with 8:10 left before Beauvillier squeezed a shot through Vasilevskiy's armpit. With almost 30 minutes of scoreless hockey gone by, Nelson gave the Islanders the lead midway through the second period.

"Thank you to all the folks that have showered me with love since my injury", Berry captioned the Instagram photo, possibly a still from the movie.

"I didn't want to stop because I had prepared for so long". I want to see someone rise above obstacles and still be standing at the end of the day. "It's story telling and we definitely feel confident that you've got the story"'. "I've been thinking of how I can reimagine it for someone like me, a Black woman in middle age - not starting life - who's looking for a last chance, not another chance. And that was a journey".

The film features Berry as a past-her-prime fighter in the world of mixed martial arts, trying to find a measure of redemption in both her personal and professional life. The award was given to her for her excellent contribution in the movie Monster's Ball. She watches one time before the press junket and one time at the premiere and that's it. As Jackie prepares to go back to "the only thing she is good at", the son she once abandoned is dropped off at her doorstep. Therefore, she reveals that having to watch herself over and over again in the editing room for Bruised was a challenge for her. In fact, she said it got harder for her to score roles.
