Bryan Cranston accepts Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Breaking Bad at the Emmys

The "Breaking Bad" star went public with his health setback with a video on Instagram on Thursday (30Jul20), explaining he was "very lucky" to only experience "very mild symptoms", such as headaches, tightness in his chest, and a loss of taste and smell.

In his post, the actor and director urged people to wear face masks, as the death toll in the United States climbed over 150,000.

Cranston said he hoped his video would inspire those who know they battled COVID-19 to consider donating plasma too.

Meanwhile the actor's next role is The One and Only Ivan, a story about a gorilla who tries to piece together his past with the help of an elephant named Stella.

"About now you're probably feeling a little tied down, restricting your mobility and like me, you're exhausted of this", he wrote, adding, "Well, I just want to encourage you to have a little more patience. Well, I just want to encourage you to have a little more patience", he wrote.
