Brad Pitt scores Emmy nomination for Saturday Night Live appearance

Brad Pitt has another reason to celebrate this year

As the coronavirus pandemic has raged on for the last six months, we've gotten very few nice things. While Aniston was honoured with the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama series award for The Morning Show, Pitt was honoured with the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

Pitt took the role after Dr Fauci jokingly suggested he should play him. They then come together and married in the year 2000 on July 29 and got split after five years of their marriage when they officially got divorced in the early times of the year 2005. Brad pulled up to Angie's tall front iron gate on July 28, and without struggling much, he pushed some buttons on the security box and made his way inside.

And lucky for us, his wish was Pitt's command.

The sketch included Pitt's Fauci's reaction to President Trump saying we would have a vaccine "relatively soon".

Rio Tinto first-half profit drops 4 pct

The 56-year-old actor and film producer fellow nominees are Adam Driver and Eddie Murphy for their SNL stints and Dev Patel (Modern Love), Luke Kirby (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) and the late Fred Willard (Modern Family).

Pitt's surprise appearance on the show, which was not announced in advance of the episode, saw him don a wig to impersonate Fauci in a fake public service announcement.

"And to the real Dr. Fauci, thank you for your calm and your clarity in this unnerving time", Pitt said. "And thank you to the health-related staff, initially responders and their people for now being on the front line".

Of course, the sketch earned serious praise from the good doctor. "I necessarily mean, I'm a great fan of Brad Pitt, and that is the cause why when people today check with me who'd I like to perform me I mention Brad Pitt since he is one particular of my favourite actors".
