Prince Andrew agonising over whether to condemn Ghislaine Maxwell, says source

Prince Andrew knew little of Epstein's exploits because he 'didn't ask questions', says Ghislaine Maxwell's friend

The victim, who was 14 when Maxwell befriended her by asking about her school and family, alleged Maxwell engaged in "sexualized massages" with the girl and Epstein. In addition to that, she should be on suicide watch.

Epstein was arrested for sex trafficking by the same USA attorney's office a year ago - but committed suicide in his lower Manhattan jail cell before he could face trial.

It seemed almost impossible to find the notorious Ghislaine Maxwell. Medical examiners concluded his death was a suicide. Some have claimed Maxwell was the mastermind behind some of the worst of Epstein's activities.

Ghislaine Maxwell with Jeffrey Epstein.

There were other irregularities: a camera pointing toward the outside of the cell reportedly malfunctioned while video footage from another camera in the area "no longer exists", prosecutors Maurene Comey and Jason Swergold revealed in January.

"They want to make sure she'll stand trial", the source said, adding that the Bureau of Prisons doesn't want another "black eye".

She was arrested on July 2 at a rural mansion in New Hampshire, where investigators said she had been hiding. She did not enter a plea and agreed to be brought to NY to face six felony counts, including conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts and perjury, according to legal filings.

The Curse of Jeffrey Epstein continues with word that his associate-madam Ghislaine Maxwell is now on suicide watch in her NY prison cell soon after we learned she was willing to trade information for a reduced sentence.

Attorney Gloria Allred is calling for Prince Andrew to come forward and speak with prosecutors about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein before Epstein's alleged accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell speaks for him. She reported that "Defendant Maxwell participated with and assisted Epstein in maintaining and protecting his sex trafficking ring, ensuring that approximately three girls a day were made available to him for his sexual pleasure".

In 2017, Alexander Acosta, one of the prosecutors who negotiated the plea deal with Epstein, was appointed Labour Secretary in the Trump cabinet. He declined to disclose details of what the client discussed.

California records highest single-day coronavirus toll: 149 deaths
Those numbers may not tell the whole story; more than a third of confirmed cases are missing race and ethnicity data. There is also one Person Under Investigation (PUI), at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan.

The lawyer believes Maxwell, a British national who holds French and USA citizenship, will give information to prosecutors.

"I think she will". The insider claimed that most people there wanted nothing to do with her.

"It's standard practice in the business to trade information for a lighter sentence".

The women who say they were abused by Epstein are poised to collect money from his estate if they file claims with the Epstein Victim's Compensation Program.

Following the interview and the widespread backlash, Prince Andrew stepped down from his royal duties, according to The New York Times.

The indictment accuses Maxwell of having "repeatedly lied when questioned about her conduct, including in relation to some of the minor victims". Government officials at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and New York City Police Department (NYPD) however were reportedly told of Maxwell and Epstein's alleged crimes by accuser Maria Farmer in 1996 according to an interview with the New York Times.

She was transferred by U.S. Marshals to the federal jail in NY on Monday.

Prosecutors initially asked for a July 9 court date.

The judge said that only Maxwell and her lawyer will appear in court at the hearing, but others could listen to the audio via phone.
