Trump retweets, then deletes, video of supporter shouting 'white power'

Trump approvingly tweets video showing 'white power' chant

"Moments into the video clip he shared, a man driving a golf cart displaying pro-Trump signs and flags shouts 'white power".

In the first seconds of the video, anti-Trump protesters can be heard yelling "racist" as a caravan of Trump protesters drive past in golf carts.

The original tweet and two-minute video that Trump retweeted identifies the scene as "seniors from The Villages in Florida protesting against each other". The Radical Left Do Nothing Democrats will Fall in the Fall.

The video appeared to have been taken at The Villages, a Florida retirement community, and showed dueling demonstrations between Trump supporters and opponents.

This comes as the President prepares for the run-in for Presidential election this year.

Protests against police brutality and bias in law enforcement have occurred across the country following Floyd's death and there has also been a push to remove Confederate monuments, an effort Trump has opposed.

Frittelli missed the cut in CT last Friday but failed the test when arriving to board the Tour's charter to fly from CT to MI . I appreciate the tour support and I look forward to competing again after I'm fully recovered".

"I've not seen that video or that tweet, but obviously neither the President, his administration nor I would do anything to be supportive of white supremacy or anything that would support discrimination of any kind", Azar said.

The president's retweet sparked immediate backlash - including from Republicans.

"There's no question that he should not have retweeted it and he should just take it down", U.S. Senator Tim Scott, the Senate's only Black Republican, told CNN's "State of the Union" program.

The original tweet, from an account dubbed Fifty Shades of Whey, was posted Saturday and received 19,000 retweets.

Some of the counterdemonstrators in the Florida video hold signs supporting former vice president Joe Biden, the presumed Democratic nominee challenging Trump in November.

Deputy White House press secretary confirmed the President did not hear that portion of the video.

Officials said the president gets a deluge of content from aides and allies, with one of them saying the "white power" incident was a "lesson to all of us in the White House to be more aware of what's out there".
