Solskjaer challenges United to go unbeaten for rest of season

Angel Gomes to leave Manchester United? Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gives his take

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is confident that Marcus Rashford will soon rediscover his goalscoring touch after his recovery from a long-haul injury.

Man United are now sixth on the league table but have played one game less than Wolves so if they can manage to beat the Seagulls on Tuesday then Solskjaer's men will move back to the fifth spot - within two points of Chelsea.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men are due to take on Brighton, who now sit 15th in the Premier League table, on Tuesday.

"Any Man United team should go into any game against any opposition believing they can win that game so the short answer to whether we can go unbeaten is yes", said Solskjaer. One, we've played quite a few good games against them lately and we know that we're competitive and have done really well against them and two, we have some really good momentum, we are building that and we're in good form. The comprehensive victory was hailed by Solksjaer as his team's 'best performances of the season' at the time.

Derby County footballer Andre Wisdom hospitalized after assault
He signed for the club from Liverpool after a series of loan spells and has made 20 appearances so far this season. He's expected to make a full recovery and could leave hospital in two or three days.

'To get out of this lockdown period is going to be fantastic but at the moment we have to deal with the situation as it is.

United are sixth in the table, five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

United's predicted starting line-up: De Gea; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Lindelof, Luke Shaw; Matic, Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes; Rashford, Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood.

Solskjaer wants greater depth at Old Trafford, saying: "You need competition for places at Man United. The games are coming thick and fast and of course when you go to Wembley you know that a place in the final is at stake so we're going to go for it".
