The penumbral lunar eclipse is also taken as the regular full moon sometimes as the shadow falling on the moon's surface is obscure, the moon appears to be in full shape.

This Saturday night, the full moon will pass through part of the Earth's shadow, causing a lunar eclipse. Night owls will have the chance to see another spectacular sight on Independence Day - a lunar eclipse.

The penumbral eclipse is much more subtle and harder to observe than total and partial eclipses.

According to Earthsky.org, there are three kinds of lunar eclipses: a total eclipse, a partial eclipse and a penumbral eclipse.

The lunar eclipse falling on July 5 will take begin at 08:37 am, reach its maximum peak at 09:59 am and will culminate at 11:22 am. Both eclipses will be visible in our area, as long as there are no clouds in the sky.
