Sacha Baron Cohen trolls far-right event disguised as bluegrass singer

77th Annual Golden Globe Awards- Arrivals

His appearance made the news because he was able to get on stage and perform a racist song that mocks the sentiments of the group.

Matt Marshall, a former founder of the Three Percenters in Washington, said in a video shared on Twitter that he believes Cohen funded the event under the moniker Back to Work USA, a company based in Orange County, California.

The Washington state news outlet The Olympian reports that Baron Cohen crashed the rally of the alt-right militia group the Washington Three Percenters while in disguise. Hillary Clinton what we gonna do, lock her up like we used to do.

And apparently, the crowd did get wise to the act, but not before they were soundly humiliated with the widely-recorded singalong and a separate instance where Baron Cohen snuck in under a different disguise. Inject him with the Wuhan flu. "Inject them with the Wuhan flu or chop 'em up like the Saudis do". According to social media posts from the event's organizers, Baron Cohen disguised himself as the leader of a political action committee who wanted to sponsor the rally.

They posted their own video showing organisers admitting at the event that they got "catfished" by the stunt and called it "a hit job from extremists" created to divide America.

Second Round of Local Elections in France
Opinion polls now show Mr Macron's popularity rating is hovering around 40 per cent - higher than before the virus outbreak. Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo getting a bouquet of flowers after her victorious second round of the municipal election Sunday.

James Blair, a libertarian Yelm City Councilman who was there for the rally, wrote on Facebook, "He came onstage disguised as the lead singer of the last band, singing a bunch of racist, hateful, disgusting shit".

The councilman also claimed the crowd turned on Cohen and security whisked him away in a waiting ambulance.

Cohen hasn't publicly commented on the prank yet, but we're guessing there's a good chance it'll find a place on his political satire TV series, Who Is America?.

After organisers cottoned on to the stunt, they attempted to take him off stage and unplug the power, but Cohen was one step ahead with a team of security guarding the generator.
