Iran issues arrest warrant for Trump over killing of top general

Iran Reportedly Wants Interpol to Arrest Trump Over Soleimani’s Killing

However, finding it hard to let go, Iran issued an arrest warrant and asked Interpol to help in detaining Trump and dozens of others it believes carried out the drone strike that killed its general.

Prosecutor-General of Tehran Ali Alqasi Mehr is looking for Donald Trump and 35 other suspects behind the alleged assassination of top general and has asked Interpol for help.

However, Interpol clarified that its constitution prevents them from "undertaking any intervention or activities of a political, military, religious or racial character".

Soleimani and other Iranian and Iraqi officials were killed in a USA airstrike near Baghdad in January.

The strike against Soleimani came after months of tensions between Tehran and Washington and saw Iran retaliate with a ballistic missile strike targeting U.S. troops based in Iraq.

The killing of Soleimani brought the United States and Iran to the brink of armed conflict after Iran retaliated by firing missiles at American targets in Iraq several days later.

But some argue that the act of wearing a mask is political, and that wearing one violates their civil liberties. Gutierrez thought it was going to be an uneventful day until Amber Lyn Gilles walked in without a face mask on.

The Iranian judiciary earlier this month said an Iranian national, Mahmoud Mousavi Majd would be executed after he was convicted of helping the USA and Israel to spy on the general before he was killed.

"He was a monster".

The organisation did not confirm that they have received such a request from Iran but said they would not be able to comply it if they had.

"He was planning a big attack and bad attack for us".

In his respond, Trump warned Tehran that the USA will target 52 Iranian sites if Iran attacks Americans.

"I think (killing Soleimani) has had a significant effect in establishing and reestablishing a rough form of deterrence in the theater", The VOA quoted Mr McKenzie Jr., the commander of United States Central Command (CENTCOM), to have said.
