Normal People Stars Confess Sins to Fleabag's Hot Priest

Two New Episodes Of Normal People Are In The Works

In a surreal musical crossover, the deadly serious but naughty drama joined up with deeply frivolous but naughty comedy Fleabag when the now legendary "hot priest", played by Dublin actor Andrew Scott, took the confessions of Marianne and Connell.

Classic and much-loved shows such as Paths to Freedom made one-off returns and Zig and Zag, along with Dustin the Turkey, also reprised their roles in a special RTÉ Does Comic Relief edition of The Den. Charity co-founder Richard Curtis confirmed that both Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones would be back as Connell and Marianne for the special.

The special will air across two episodes.

Normal People fans are in for a treat this week as RTÉ will air two new specials as part of RTE Does Comic Relief.

Matthew Morrison suggests Lea Michele wasn't always 'pleasant' to be around
If you don't know, in recent weeks, many of Lea's past co-stars came forward to share their experiences on set with her . She later said she doesn't "give a s-t about this Lea Michele thing", noting there are "people out here dying".

'We're delighted that Normal People has been such a success and so many people have come to iPlayer to watch it. One of the things about Comic Relief is it just gives opportunities for things to happen that would never happen. But it's really, it's really attractive.

Normal Older People is set four decades from now, showing Marianne and Connell as an older married couple, but despite the years, they're still pretty very bad at communicating. "I mean I can't even say (everything) about it because there's a guest star in it. I can't imagine any context in which they would have allowed this little sort of extra-special into the world of Normal People". Will they be in torrid other relationships?

By now, we've all well and truly devoured all there is of Sally Rooney's Normal People. And Alice Birch and all of us at Element Pictures.

If you're anything like us, you've already binged the entire series of Normal People-three times over.
