For now, only a limited group of people globally on Twitter for iOS, Android, and twitter.com can tweet with these settings, but everyone can see these conversations. Now available to only a small bunch of people globally, this new feature will show you three options you can pick from just before you post your tweet.

Twitter is rolling out a new feature to the platform that lets users view quotes to tweets.

However, those who are not able to reply directly to a tweet will still be able to retweet, retweet with comment, and like controlled tweets.

As the option names suggest, only those users that the author of the tweet has selected will be able to respond to the tweet. It's unclear why Twitter isn't ready to roll out the feature to all users right now.

Twitter announced that it's testing a new feature that lets you decide who can participate in your conversations.

Auto rental company Hertz files for bankruptcy due to Covid-19 pandemic
Chapter 11 is a mechanism that allows a company that is no longer able to repay its debt to restructure itself without creditors. Hertz joins other large American companies in filing for COVID-19 related bankruptcy actions, including J.C.

A "Conversation Participants" option in the window where a tweet is composed will allow users to select who can reply to a tweet.

The social network announced on Wednesday that a small group of users will be able to block replies to their posts or only allow certain people to respond.

You can pick from - "everyone", "only people you follow" and "only people you mention".

People with access to the new feature are given an option while writing a new post to choose who can reply to it once it's published.

Some users expressed concern when the idea was first revealed in January, saying they feared it would give public figures such as Donald Trump the power to hide replies and avoid public scrutiny.
