Sony to reveal "compelling PS5 games lineup" soon

PS5 will be getting some game announcements soon

Of course, the current global climate has no doubt affected the console manufacturer's plans.

A new report suggests Sony's rumored early June PlayStation 5 showcase aims to avoid the same mistakes that made Xbox's notorious Series X gameplay event such a debacle.

By "everything we know" I mean we know nearly nothing, apart from Yoshida mentioning that the reveal will be soon.

Sony's subsequent know-how of gaming consoles and PlayStation 4's successors, PlayStation 5 is nearing its launch week with the help of week.

Thanks to VentureBeat reporter, Jeff Grubb, who's been busy teasing this summer's schedule of gaming events, we're starting to get a clearer picture of what's in store. This digital Nintendo Direct-style presentation is said to be taking place in early August, and will "highlight a combination of PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 titles".

While these two events are highlighted, Sony will also reportedly utilise its PlayStation Blog and other social channels for various announcements across the months as well.
