NBA says it is talking with Disney about resuming season

According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, the National Basketball Association sent the survey to its GMs on Friday night, with said survey "included polling on whether the National Basketball Association should do a play-in tournament, the preferred number of teams to enter the playing site and the preferred number of scrimmages or regular-season games prior to the playoffs". Games would be held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, a massive campus on the Disney property near Orlando. Disney is one of the NBA's biggest TV partners with the NBA Finals broadcast on ABC.

The NBA suspended its season March 11, becoming the first of the USA major pro leagues to do so after it was revealed that All-Star centre Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz tested positive for COVID-19.

The spokesman said the league was "working with public health experts and government officials on a comprehensive set of guidelines to ensure that appropriate medical protocols and protections are in place".

There are still several questions remaining regarding format and testing on the playing.

As for the Night Angel , Kandi said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that it took her a minute to get used to performing in costume, which was so hot.

The league is expected to use Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida as a campus hub for Eastern Conference teams and Las Vegas for Western Conference teams. Germany's top soccer league Bundesliga resumed play last weekend, and on Saturday Spain's La Liga received clearance from Spanish prime minister Pedro Sanchez to resume its season in early June.

There have been 1.64m confirmed coronavirus cases in the United States and more than 96,000 deaths.

The only three Heat players who have quarantined outside of South Florida - Jimmy Butler, Andre Iguodala and Solomon Hill - have not returned to Miami yet as they wait to learn more concrete details about the NBA's plan for the remainder of the season, according to multiple league sources. If the league plans to resume play in late July, then camps conceivably could open around the start of that month.
