Google App Now Receiving Dark Mode Feature, Rollout to Complete This Week

Google has been updating its native apps every now and then with new features.

On iPhones running iOS 13 or later: If you have system-wide dark mode enabled on your iOS 13 device, the Google app will automatically launch in dark mode. Like always it is set to System default and you can change it to Dark or Light. This flexibleness as not everyone would want dark mode all over their phone.The dark mode for Google search in PC is expecting soon. After the update, iOS and Android users will be able to use whatever theme their operating system is already set. This mode, according to Google, is meant to help users create a more unified look across their smartphones' apps, and ease on eye strain. In a bid to expand support for Dark Mode across its app portfolio, Google has announced the roll-out of Dark mode support for the Google App and Google Assistant. In iOS 12, the settings are all manual. To do so, go to the in-app settings of Google Search and choose the theme of your choice.
