Apple extends free trials for its pro creative apps

Apple FCPX

Apple is offering new free trial options for Final Cut Pro X and Logic Pro X, its video and audio editing software designed for professional projects, giving customers 90 days to try them out prior to a purchase. To encourage people to get busy recording music and producing videos, Apple is making its professional-grade music and video editing software available for free for a short time.

Normally, Final Cut Pro X has a 30-day trial, which has now been extended to 90 days, and works even if you're already on a 30-day trial. Using Final Cut Pro X requires macOS 10.14.6 or later, at least 4GB of RAM, 3.8GB of disk space, and a Metal-capable graphics card with 1GB of VRAM.

Now musicians can finally try out Logic Pro X without having to shell out a ton of cash.

Arians: Antonio Brown not a fit for the Buccaneers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians firmly shut the door on potentially signing Antonio Brown in an interview Thursday. Montana, who knows what it's like to change teams late in a career, wonders how it even got to that. "No.

Three months is more than enough time to test out the editing packages and decide if they are worth the investment.

To find out more about Final Cut Pro X or start your 90-day free trial, head over to the Apple website and click the "Free Trial" button in the top right corner of that webpage. Set to go live in the next few days, there's no word on when either of these trial offers will end, however the word is Apple will switch back to a 30-day trial for both apps after a limited period.
