Prince Harry, Meghan Markle will stop using 'Sussex Royal' brand

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle will stop using 'Sussex Royal' brand

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not intend to use "Sussex Royal" or any iteration of the word "Royal" in any territory (either within the United Kingdom or otherwise) when the transition occurs", reads an outline of the couple's "Spring 2020 Transition" online.

The couple, who are known in Britain as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, will no longer seek to trademark the term SussexRoyal because of United Kingdom rules governing use of the word "royal", their office said late Friday.

Chris and Lizzie also discuss what's in store for Harry and Meghan as they settle down in Canada - and talk about the other latest royal news including Kate's chat on motherhood, Prince Charles' 50 year campaign to protect the environment and how the family celebrated Prince Andrew's 60th birthday.

The couple will return to the United Kingdom later this month to carry out their final official engagements before they step down as senior members of the royal family.

A source close to the couple spokesperson for the couple later said that "as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are stepping back as senior members of the royal family and will work towards financial independence, use of the word 'royal, ' in this context needed to be reviewed".

Harry and Meghan have spent tens of thousands of pounds on a new Sussex Royal website to complement their hugely popular Instagram feed.

A spokesman confirmed they had reached a final decision, after a United States tabloid website reported there had been frustrations on the part of the Duke and Duchess that it had become "an issue".

#SpookyNews: Hackers can make your Tesla speed up suddenly
The experiment by McAfee is created to identify potential security problems and flaws that the auto industry has not kept up with. As the Tesla vehicles approached the altered road sign, both vehicles misread the sigh as 85-mph and accelerated by 50-mph.

The couple's Instagram account, which has 11.2 million followers, uses the name SussexRoyal, as does a website set up by the couple which they used to declare they were seeking to be more independent.

It is normally attended by the Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and is a major engagement in the Queen's calendar.

As things stand, Harry and Meghan use the brand extensively.

"Basically, if you look at what Harry and Meghan did as a kind of metaphor for the millennial, woke generation... they thought they could have it all at no cost to themselves".

"Therefore the trademark applications that were filed as protective measures, acting on advice from and following the same model for The Royal Foundation, have been removed", they added.

"She said regardless of the name, Harry and Archie have royal blood and no one can take that away", a report carried by Express.co.uk quoted Meghan as having told her unnamed friend.
