Jay-Z Sues Mississippi Jail Authorities Over Out of Line Conditions

The lawsuit, filed today in federal court, said the maximum-security prison was extremely risky for prisoners after a surge of violence left three inmates stabbed to death, just inside first week of 2020.

More than two dozen MS inmates sued the state Tuesday, saying understaffed prisons are "plagued by violence" and inmates are forced to live in decrepit and risky conditions.
