Google Creates New Messaging Service, This Time Within Google Photos

Messenger

Google Photos users will be able to share any number of media - well, up to 20,000 pieces per conversation - in the quality that was backed up to their account with certain people or groups in the app's share panel.

The new feature is easy enough to use: just open the app and select the image you want to share.

The new feature will let you share an image or multiple images via the Google Photos app.

Now, Google Photos will have a messaging feature within the app, creating an easier way to share photos.

‘RHOA’ star Porsha Williams is getting married again
Asked by Cohen if she trusts McKinley now, Williams said the two are "still working it out". In the end, though, Williams said that she hopes fans stick by and watch her journey.

An argument could be made that Google has over-indulged in its creation of way too many messaging apps in years past. The addition will allow users to quickly and easily share those one-off photos or videos with another person, instead of taking additional steps to build a shared album. Then choose the contact to share the content with and you're done. It is limiting to some extent, sure. You'll be able to send your photos and videos through a chat interface in the app. But honestly, I believe that most of us have a Google account, so I think we're good.

The in-built private conversation feature is expected to be rolled out next week.

Google can't stop adding features to its apps and services it seems, with the latest update coming to its Photos app, on both mobile and on the web. People all over the globe can expect to have it over the following week.

Google says the new chat/sharing feature is rolling out to users over the next week, so don't fret if you don't see it live yet today. The new feature offers users one place to find the pictures they've shared with their friends and family and keep the conversation going.
