Everton midfielder Andre Gomes has expressed his appreciation to all the people who supported him after the career threatening injury he sustained against Tottenham.

Tottenham have successfully appealed against a red card shown to Son Heung-min for a tackle that led to Everton midfielder Andre Gomes breaking his ankle, so the Spurs striker can play in his side's next three games, the English Football Association said on Tuesday.

"It looks like a really serious injury, but everything went really well and we hope we can see him playing again this season".

Speaking ahead of Everton's crunch Premier League clash with Southampton, Silva said: 'It is not easy for us to give a sure date about when Andre Gomes will return.

FLEETWOOD manager Joey Barton will go on trial next year accused of assaulting former Barnsley boss Daniel Stendel. "Obviously, it is not something we can be 100 per cent sure on, but there are lots of positives".

Outer Worlds Is Coming To Nintendo Switch Early Next Year
The game will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch at some point in 2020. That, unfortunately, means that there's been no talk of a release date.

"Of course, we are working with him because the Premier League is really tough and the message and feedback to him is to always to stand as much as he can", Silva told EvertonTV.

"The toughest moment was for André, but of course for the two players who were involved, first Son and after, [Serge] Aurier, it was really tough as well".

"But now is a moment for us to understand the situation and most importantly, to give Andre all the support he needs at this moment".

Heung-Min Son refuses to celebrate his own goal and publicly asked for an apology from Andre Gomes after the latter got injured recently.

"But it's what we are working on with him, to keep standing and be strong because the contact in the Premier League is really strong as well".
