Alex Rodriguez's "Sunday Night Baseball" trip to San Francisco didn't quite end the way he wanted it to.

The former Major League Baseball star was visiting San Francisco to cover the Giants' Sunday night matchup against the Philadelphia Phillies when his vehicle reportedly was broken into, sources tell the San Francisco Chronicle.

"It's an unfortunate situation".

The "Sunday Night Baseball" broadcaster was at the baseball stadium working with his ESPN crew for most of the day, according to the website.

ESPN had rented the black Nissan SUV for A-Rod and other members of the channel's production team before it was broken into, the newspaper reported.

LG G8X Image Renders Spotted Online before the Official IFA 2019 Launch
Near the end of the clip, the two screens folded to show the outer contours of a smartphone and a date and time is displayed. It has a dual rear camera setup accompanied with an LED flash, aligned horizontally, like the one we have seen in G8 ThinQ.

Rodriguez told ESPN he was sad, because several of the items stolen were of "personal nature and irreplaceable with sentimental value". "I am encouraged that local law enforcement has security footage of the crime and are doing all they can to get the items back".

San Francisco police spokesman Adam Lobsinger told the San Francisco Chronicle that a bag, laptop, camera and pieces of jewelry were stolen.

Rodriguez, 44, is in his second season as an analyst on "Sunday Night Baseball" after a 22-year MLB career that ended in 2016. The irony: During the Phillies' 9-6 loss to the Giants, Rodriguez criticized Phillies manager Gabe Kapler over his "careless managing".

Rodriguez's co-analyst on the ESPN program, Jessica Mendoza, missed Sunday's telecast after she was involved in a vehicle collision Friday.
