German Chancellor Angela Merkel Seen Shaking For 3rd Time in Several Weeks

German Chancellor Angela Merkel receives Finland's new Social Democrat Prime Minister Antti Rinne with military honours at the Chancellery in Berlin Germany

Video footage shows Mrs Merkel trembling, shaking back and forth alongside Finland's prime minister during a ceremony in Berlin.

Prior to this instance, she appeared unsteady and in distress when meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in mid-June as the national anthems of the two countries blared at an event in Berlin.

Merkel told reporters following the episode that she was "fine" and suggested that the psychological impact of the first incident was responsible for the subsequent episodes.

The chancellor said at a news conference 90 minutes later: "Since then I've drunk at least three glasses of water, which I apparently needed, and now I'm doing very well". "You don't have to worry about me".

It's getting harder for Angela Merkel to brush off concerns over her health.

On previous occasions she has blamed her unsteadiness on overheating or dehydration.

"I have already said that I am going through a phase of processing the recent military honours with President Zelenskiy", the chancellor said on Wednesday.

Merkel's office has given no explanation for her shaking episodes, prompting German media speculation about the cause.

Jada Pinkett Smith Embarasses Son Jaden In Honor of His 21st Birthday
According to People , the day before his 21st birthday, Jaden Smith opened a free food truck to feed the homeless in Los Angeles . In the caption, Pinkett Smith opened up about giving birth to Jaden and what it meant to her.

The second incident happened at the German president's palace as she listened to his comments on the swearing-in of a new justice minister.

In power for 14 years, Merkel is renowned for her work ethic and has a reputation for outlasting other leaders at European Union summits with her ability to focus on the details of complex discussions deep into the night.

Merkel said past year that she won't seek a fifth term as chancellor and won't seek any other political job after her current term ends in 2021.

In case of emergency, Ms Merkel would be replaced by Vice Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who would carry out her duties until parliament elected a new leader.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel insists she's "fine" after being filmed shaking for a third time.

Merkel is set to turn 65 on July 17.

Merkel has loomed large on the European stage since 2005, helping guide the EU through the euro zone crisis and opening Germany's doors to migrants fleeing war in the Middle East in 2015 - a move that still divides the bloc and her country. She is due to go on holiday later in the summer.
