Le Mans '66 Trailer: Christian Bale And Matt Damon Hit The Track

Ford v. Ferrari is a film that has snuck up on us to become one of the hot favourites to watch out this year. The first trailer was released days after the makers released a poster of the same.

The first trailer for Ford v. Ferrari starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale is out. The film, which stars Matt Damon as a young Shelby and Christian Bale as British driver Ken Miles, chronicles the events leading up to Ford's historic 1-2-3 win at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. He finds Ken Miles, the British race vehicle driver played by Bale. The end of the trailer shows Ford's boss "born-ready" attitude quickly turning into tears after Shelby takes him for a quick spin in the GT40. The trailer kicks off with Bale and his son discussing a race track.

Tracy Letts, known best for his role on "Homeland", plays Ford and Jon Bernthal, from "The Punisher" and "The Walking Dead", plays Iacocca. It is then that Shelby suggests Ken's name to the company.
