Ariana Grande pulls out of performing AND attending the Grammy's

After having an alleged argument with the award show's producers over which songs she would perform, the Sweetener songstress not only backed out of performing at the upcoming show, she's not even GOING to it!

According to Variety, the 25-year-old American singer won't be performing and may not even attend the event which takes place on Sunday, 10 February.

The source says that Ariana felt "insulted" after producers refused to let her perform "7 Rings" during the show. After some deliberation, Grande and the producers came to some kind of agreement, which allowed her to perform "7 Rings" in a medley of songs, but the situation reached an impasse when the Grammy's insisting upon choosing the 2nd song in her medley.

Grande's decision is especially noteworthy given how the Grammys used her image on a series of promotional billboards across American cities.

Last year, Lorde opted not to perform after discovering she was the only one of five Album of the Year nominees not offered a solo slot, as she'd been asked to be a part of a tribute to the late Tom Petty instead.

The Grammy's loss of Ariana Grande is almost impossible to replace; her singles "Sweetener", "Thank U, Next", and "7 Rings" have reached a level of critical mass since going entering the streaming World.
