Disney Reportedly Plans on Using James Gunn’s ‘Guardians 3’ Script

The wrestler-turned-movie star, who portrays Drax the Destroyer in Disney's big screen adaptations of the Marvel comic books, has made it clear he is not happy that Gunn will no longer be in charge of the franchise, following his dismissal in July, when old tweets he sent joking about rape and paedophilia were unearthed by conservative critics.

After firing James Gunn for a number of sickening Tweets involving pedophilia, child pornography, and molestation as well as a potential FBI investigation into possession of child pornography, a new rumor indicates Disney is also scrapping Gunn's script for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

THR notes that Gunn is now locked in complicated negotiations with Disney over his exit.

While the trade maintains the anonymity of the executives, they do confirm that numerous top studios in Hollywood are interested in Gunn, including Warner Bros. which rivals Marvel Studios in the superhero entertainment business with DC Films. At this point Disney should be looking at the longview, and making sure that this whole mess is as invisible as possible when audiences are watching the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy 50 years from now, and their best option within that perspective is using Gunn's screenplay.

How 'Dynasty' Star Catherine Oxenberg Fought to Save Daughter From Suspected Cult
The group, headquartered in NY , is led by Keith Raniere and his right-hand woman, Allison Mack . Kelly then asked Oxenberg what it was like to see that symbol branded on her child.

It has already been reported that Disney is "unlikely" to reinstate Gunn as director, but it remains to be seen whether Marvel would want to use Gunn's original script. And this calls into question Disney's silence and inaction over the matter as well - why is it taking them almost a month to make any decisions regarding a new director for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?

Right now, Gunn's exit is being negotiated by his talent agency UTA and his attorney Andrew Hurwitz. "An end-all verdict hasn't been issued and conversations with Marvel are still ongoing", a source told THR. Because Gunn could move over the aisle to Warner Bros.' DC universe?

So, it's all up in the air for now.
