LSU's Joe Brady to become Panthers' offensive coordinator

Joe Brady

LSU just happens to have the best young play-caller in the business.

The LSU Tigers are still celebrating their national championship win from Monday night, but some news on Tuesday has dampened the excitement a little.

It's unknown whether Joe Brady was a candidate for the Eagles offensive coordinator job, but according to Adam Schefter, Brady will be named the Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator. In his one year at LSU, Brady helped turn Joe Burrow into a Heisman Trophy victor and the Tigers' offense into one of the country's best. This year, Burrow managed an astounding 5,671 yards, 60 touchdowns, and six picks.

Brady is expected to become the next offensive coordinator for the Panthers, another reporter, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic also posted.

Brady received the 2019 Broyles Award as the top assistant coach in college football.

Brady arrived in Baton Rouge after a two-year stint as an assistant with the New Orleans Saints.
