Jay-Z rarely does anything without a flourish, and apparently as a 50 th birthday present to himself, the billionaire has returned his catalog to Spotify after an absence of almost three years.

Hove toasts the milestone today - December 4th - after a lifetime of phenomenal success.

If you're a Spotify user and love Jay-Z, this is a special day for you because the rapper's entire discography is now back on the streaming service.

Not to be outshined by its owner's birthday, Tidal also announced on social media that it will honor Jay-Z by "livestreaming our collection of his music videos, performances, documentaries, and more all day long". Hard Knock Life and 2004's Collision Course, his collaborative album with Linkin Park.
