Donald Trump got big shock, Bloomberg journalists will not cover rallies

Trump campaign bans Bloomberg News from campaign events amid accusations of political bias

Billionaire and 2020 Democrat presidential primary candidate Michael Bloomberg is vowing to free hundreds of thousands of accused criminals who are deemed "non-violent" by eliminating bail nationwide.

NEW YORK-Explaining that he felt he had earned a little indulgence, Democratic candidate Michael Bloomberg confirmed Tuesday that he had chose to treat himself to a second, flashier presidential campaign.

Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale called it a troubling decision to "formalize preferential reporting policies". The new policy will no longer permit representatives from the news company to be credentialed at events, and the campaign will determine on a case-by-case basis whether they will respond to specific inquiries from Bloomberg reporters, according to a statement from the campaign. As President Trump's marketing campaign, we're accustomed to unfair reporting practices, however most information organizations don't announce their biases so publicly.

"The accusation of bias couldn't be further from the truth", he said in response to Parscale's announcement.

Micklethwait said the news organization's approach might change if Bloomberg wins the Democratic nomination and he is competing directly against Trump.

Bloomberg, who served as mayor from 2002 to 2013, launched his Democratic presidential campaign with an apology for his embrace of stop-and-frisk policing tactics, which give police wide latitude to detain individuals suspected of committing a crime and have been found to be used disproportionately against minorities.

In his memo describing how Bloomberg News would cover the campaign, Micklethwait said that reporters would "write about virtually all aspects of this presidential contest".

Caitlyn Jenner Is Not Happy With With Khloe Kardashian
Sources told TMZ that "she's hurt by Caitlyn's accusation there's tension... there's no bad blood from Khloe's side". According to Jenner, things between her and Kardashian weren't in a good place even before her book came out.

"It's unfortunate that this is creating a perception that this is how journalism works, that journalists are manipulated by their bosses", she said.

Bloomberg noted that the crime and murder rate in NY declined during his tenure, but acknowledged the unintended consequences his policy had on the city's minority population.

New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet criticized the campaign's decision.

"Bloomberg News is one of the largest and most influential news organizations in the world".

"We condemn any action that keeps quality news media from reporting fairly and accurately on the presidency and the leadership of the country", Baquet said.

Trump's potential Democratic rival in the 2020 contest, former Vice President Joe Biden, also panned the Trump campaign's position as he campaigned Monday in Iowa. "It's the nature of the beast".
