Kuo also said he believes Apple will release more Mini-LED-equipped products over the next few years.

What's more, AirPods are now a popular product category for the company, allowing Apple to add a new revenue stream to its bow and reduce its reliance on smartphone sales.

Kuo reckons the mini-LED tech will pop up in the next-gen iPad Pro first with four to six products making use of the display tech over the coming years.

Apple did not immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment. Both these devices will carry the Mini-LED displays.
