Samsung's ToF onslaught is expected to invade even its midrangers, so the rising time-of-flight tide is likely to lift the Galaxy S11 boat as well. In particular, we're getting more apparent leaks about the device's camera.

There's now no evidence of how big the battery will be in the Galaxy S11 or Galaxy S11 Plus, but if the company is opting to improve the Galaxy S10e sequel that may mean battery improvements are coming across the board. "Hubble" as in the Hubble Space Telescope. The Galaxy S11 is already expected to come with a periscope arrangement of mirrors and lenses which will allow for an increase in optical zoom. It's nearly certain that this sensor will also be included on the Galaxy S11. However, the tech blog adds that it's unclear if all of the Galaxy S11 models will have the Hubble camera or if it will be in the Galaxy S11 Plus or the more expensive models.

The Galaxy S11 is rumored to sport a periscope-style camera system, with insane zoom capability.

Samsung has filed to trademark "Space Zoom" with the European Union Intellectual Property Office. If Samsung provides a 5x Zoom lens along with the 108 MP primary shooter then the Galaxy S11 and its siblings will be one of the best camera smartphones in the market in 2020. Some cameras already offer a similar hybrid zoom function, like the Huawei P30 Pro and the Oppo Reno2.

The description of this patent clearly says "software to zoom in to a subject without lowering image quality", and that only confirms various rumors that we've seen thus far.
