Ceballos: I was right to swap Real Madrid for Arsenal

Reports: James Rodriguez Chooses Club Over Country In Bid To Win Over

Arsenal loanee Dani Ceballos insists that he's very happy he left Real Madrid during the summer transfer window after admitting he wasn't enjoying life down the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Only Nicolas Pepe (12) has created more chances for the Gunners in the league than Ceballos (9).

According to AS, the 28-year-old is hoping to earn Zidane's favour and has elected not to travel with the Colombia squad for their friendlies against Chile and Algeria in a bid to establish his place at Real.

Arsenal don't have the option of signing him permanently at the end of the season, but Ceballos has claimed that he is keen to stay.

"Real Madrid are doing pretty good", Ceballos told reporters.

It is also so that the Spaniard does not regret his decision despite the new role of players before ruled out ones such as James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale: "My idea was clear from the first moment: to leave, to play, to enjoy football, because in the last two years I had not done this and I have succeeded in going to Arsenal. I didn't play or enjoy football", said Ceballos at a press conference with the Spanish national team.

New IMF chief claims the world economy is in a "synchronized slowdown"
Georgieva took over from Christine Lagarde as the organisation's head earlier this month. Fund expects slower growth in almost 90% of world in 2019.

"I am very happy in Arsenal, I played 10 games where I showed my best level".

Real Madrid midfielder Isco was one of the Whites' most instrumental players when they won three UEFA Champions League titles in a row, but since Santiago Solari started to bench the Spain worldwide consistently earlier during the year, things started to go downward and not even Zinedine Zidane has been able to get the best out of the attacking midfielder.

He is also looking forward to catching up with Norway midfielder Martin Odegaard, who is now on loan with Real Sociedad from Madrid.

'Our goal is to achieve the European Championship in the absolute best circumstances.

"We have a team with a lot of room for improvement".

'We work side by side to show the level we want in the European Championship'.
