Police say that Brown has a prior record connected to a violent incident in Georgia, but indicated that the incident was not recent.

The suspect clocked out at 8:20 a.m. - 17 minutes before police responded to a report of a stabbing.

"The next thing I know, he said, 'Baby - I've been stabbed five times", Campbell told the Tallahassee Democrat.

TPD was not able to confirm those details, though a press conference is scheduled for later Wednesday.

Outlaw also says Brown had been working at Dyke Industries for about three and a half months. Brown was captured about a block away from the scene.

Dyke Industries has locations across the southeast including Tallahassee and two others in Florida.
