Nightdive Studios Announces Remaster of System Shock 2 as Enhanced Edition

Nightdive Studios, the studio that's now developing the remake of the first System Shock game, announced on Sunday that it was also developing a new edition of System Shock 2.

As they said on Twitter, "You asked for it and we are working on it".

System Shock 3 is still happening, although it has no release date yet. Watch the System Shock 2 20th anniversary celebration live Twitch stream here.

While System Shock 2 is on STEAM and GOG and is fully playable, several aspects of the game haven't aged very well and it will be interesting to see what changes Nightdive does to the vanilla game. Now, requests for an Enhanced Edition of System Shock 2 are finally being made a reality and we couldn't be more excited!

Anthony Scaramucci No Longer Supports Trump; Calls for Change in GOP Ticket
As a descendent of Italian immigrants, Scaramucci has said the highly controversial comments went against American values. And, you know, we're sort anesthetized to it", he added, referring to the President's rhetoric and behavior.

Given the brevity of this statement, gamers will have to wait a little bit longer for additional details on a potential release date and features.

Developers from all over the industry will be coming together to celebrate just how much System Shock 2 owned.

System Shock 2 was originally developed by Irrational Games and Looking Glass Studios, with famed game designer Ken Levine at the helm. The studio is now working on a remake of System Shock which was a Kickstarter success back in 2016, though there have been some issues. Released back in 2015, the Enhanced Edition of System Shock included updated controls and graphical improvements, among other enhancements.

While System Shock 2 is being remastered, both it and the original System Shock can still be picked up over on GOG.com for $9.99 each (roughly Rs. 712).
