NFL Takes a Stance on Antonio Brown's Helmet

Tom Brady at practice this month wearing a new approved helmet

Last year, Brown was one of 32 players who was grandfathered in and allowed to wear the now-banned helmet. "My last helmet, I wore in four Super Bowls, so it was a pretty great helmet for me, and I hated to put it on the shelf, but that was what they said to do, so I'm dealing with it and working with something else".

The NFL is requiring players to have helmets that are safer than the ones Brown used when he first joined the NFL in 2010.

The NFL crushed Brown's hopes of disregarding the league-mandated helmet for the 2019-2020 season, by telling him the helmet of his choice is out-dated and will not be approved.

McCarthy explained that players can't practice or play in games until they wear an approved helmet.

It was reported Friday that Brown wouldn't want to continue playing without his favorite helmet - a "Schutt Air Advantage" that is not NOSCSAE certified and no longer produced by manufacturers. By the end of the year, 32 players - including Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers - remained in helmets that had not passed.

Man accused of Texas mass shooting confesses to targeting Mexicans
The suspected gunman has reportedly waived his right to an attorney and is freely sharing his confession with police. Crusius said his targets were " Mexicans ", the detective said, according to the Post.

He has also been limited to two practices during training camp because of frostbite on his feet, which the 31-year-old is said to have suffered after entering a cryotherapy chamber with incorrect footwear.

So, the moral of the story is that the National Football League pays the players, so they must follow the NFL's rules.

"He has a strong feeling about what he's worn on his head, and we're supporting him". Go ahead and retire.' All that noise you made to get out of Pittsburgh to collect $30 million, now you're gonna forfeit it?

The Raiders finally got their minds off of the Brown situation when they took the field on Saturday night and defeated the Los Angeles Rams 14-3.
