Allie Long of the United States Women's National Soccer Team receives the key to the city from Chirlane McCray, left, and Mayor Bill de Blasio, right, during a ceremony at City Hall on July 10, 2019 in New York City. The team had received the key to NY earlier on Wednesday following their World Cup win. "I would love a new one", Long said.

In New York, several posters of Rapinoe were defaced with hateful slurs prior to the team celebrating their victory at the parade, according to the New York Post.

Long - a 31-year-old midfielder - has played with the National Team since 2014.

Long will be receiving a replacement key, de Blasio replied to her tweet on Friday morning. "Don't worry about the key".

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a burglary call from the Ritz Carlton hotel on Thursday around 2:30 p.m., a spokesperson told CBS News.

Oil holds at seven-week high on gulf storm, USA stockpiles draw
Royal Dutch Shell Plc has also evacuated non-essential personnel at seven platforms and BP also began removing offshore personnel. Futures in NY rose as much as 0.8 per cent after settling above US$60 a barrel on Wednesday for the first time since May.

Not too many things you can actually do with a "key" to a city, especially trying to get money for it, since everybody in the area would know what its for and who it was given to.

The USWNT then flew to Los Angeles to attend the ESPYs, where the squad won the "Best Team" award.

Long tagged de Blasio in her tweet Thursday, asking whether he made copies of the key to her "favorite city".

Long later posted a photo on Instagram of herself with her gold medal and husband Jose Batista, along with the caption, "Take my ring but not my mans (or medal Thank God)".
