ADP: Job creation drops to 9-year low in May
Growth is expected to continue to slow as the global economy weakens, in part due to the Trump administration's new tariffs. Economists polled by Reuters are forecasting non-farm payrolls to have increased 185,000 in May.

Walmart: Walmart stores will be offering free doughnut and coffee samples at participating locations. The offer includes bare, cinnamon sugar, or powdered sugar donuts.

Throughout the day, DD will be active on social media to "help fans enjoy some time in celebration and appreciation of donuts with special content".

LaMar's Donuts: While customers can get a free Famous Donut on June 7, the chain is also asking for donations to the Salvation Army to aid in fighting children's hunger. Anyone who comes in on this day and tells a library worker that they saw the event advertised on Facebook will receive a free doughnut while supplies last, according to the library's Facebook page.

Avenue Bakery: Although not specific to National Doughnut Day, who doesn't love a good deal? Representatives from the VCP will be at Hurts from 7 a.m.to 2 p.m. with a tiny home on display. Per tradition, Krispy Kreme is giving doughnut lovers a free doughnut - no purchase necessary. And while some food "holidays" leave a lot to be desired (Do we really need a National Cheese Doodle Day?), a day dedicated to doughnuts is 24 hours well spent. They will also be taking preorders, so you can get your favorite doughnut before they run out!
