The internet pays tribute to Grumpy Cat

TWITTER

"Grumpy Cat" on the field before the Major League Baseball opening day game between the Colorado Rockies and the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field on 4 April 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Bryan Bundesen, the brother of her owner Tabatha Bundesen, posted a picture of Tardar Sauce pointing out her permanently grumpy expression and social media users couldn't get enough of her.

The internet meme sensation, who has over 12 million followers on social media, has died at the age of 7. She passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, May 14, at the home in arms of her mommy, Tabatha. Grumpy Cat's facial expression was caused by underbite and feline dwarfism. Then in 2013, Parks and Recreation's Aubrey Plaza gave voice to Grumpy Cat in the Lifetime holiday movie Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever. She was seven years old.

According to his owners, the cat from Arizona, whose real name was Tardar Sauce, "helped millions of people smile".

Conrad Black: Trump signs full pardon for former media baron
The British peer once ran a media empire that included the UK's Daily Telegraph , the Chicago Sun-Times and the Jerusalem Post . He wrote a column Thursday in Canada's National Post describing how Trump called him and revealed the pardon.

The cat's image was hot property: a year ago, a California jury awarded Bundesen's company, Grumpy Cat Limited, damages of $710,001 in a lawsuit against a beverage company that had created an unauthorized line of "Grumpy Cat Roasted Coffee" and which was selling Grumppuccino tee-shirts without sharing profits. Bundesen was a Red Lobster waitress before Grumpy Cat's rocket to stardom. Thank you to her owners for sharing her with us.

"Grumpy cat will always be a legend in my heart". She's done television commercials for Honey Nut Cheerios and took photos with hundreds of fans at South by Southwest.

The cat had more than 2 million followers on Instagram and more than 1 million on Twitter.
