'Black Mirror' Gets Season 5 Premiere Date, Trailer at Netflix

Black Mirror

It remains to be seen whether Cyrus actually performs her own songs in Season 5, but I'm choosing to keep hope alive that we'll get a synth version of "Wrecking Ball" in the near future.

It was announced past year that Miley will be making her TV comeback in an episode of the new season, portraying what looks to be a musical artist with thousands of adoring fans. We will have to wait for Season 5 of Black Mirror to find out what could happen when technology becomes a sinister force to mankind.

While details are scarce, Netflix recently released a brand new promotional still for the show's fifth season, which features a few familiar faces in a rather intense standoff.

'Arthur' Character Mr. Ratburn Has Gay Wedding on PBS Kids Cartoon
Ratburn as " gay " much like another episode of an Arthur spinoff show, Postcards From Buster , that featured gay characters. Ratburn miserable, which will then make his students miserable, so they set off to nip the nuptials in the bud.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Damson Idris, Pom Klementieff, Angourie Rice, Madison Davenport, and Ludi Lin will also appear in the season.

Netflix has described this season as showing "our collective unease with the modern world, with each stand-alone episode a sharp, suspenseful tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia leading to an unforgettable - and sometimes unsettling - conclusion". Netflix just released a new Black Mirror Season 5 anthology trailer, and it explores how chatbots, smartphones, and other electronics can negatively impact humans, including a mysterious pop star played by Miley Cyrus. But series creator Charlie Brooker teases: "It's the Marvel-DC crossover no one saw coming".
