His wife Bettie Jenifer was on Friday evening shot dead by an unknown gunmen in the parking lot after she left her office.

The heat wave death of actor Chris Attoh's second wife Bettie Jenifer have caused seems not ready to go down soon.

Bettie Jenifer, Chris Attoh's wife has been shot dead in the U.S. and speculations on how and who killed her have already started on social media and not all of them are pleasant.

Bettie Jenifer, according to a report cited on jivenaija.com and also on Nbcwashington.com has it that she left the office in the 6300 block of Ivy Lane and was walking to her auto when a man armed with a handgun approached her.

Greenbelt police further said Bettie had attempted to run when she spotted the assailant but he fired several times.

Police described the suspect as "a black male with a thin build and black hair, wearing a dark shirt and trousers".

TheNewsGuru reports that Chris Attoh and Bettie Jenifer got married at a private event at North Kaneshie, Accra, Ghana in October 2018. He was wearing dark clothing and may have been in a blue auto. Their wedding came just 10 months after his divorce from Nigerian actress DamiloIa Adegbite, with whom he has a son.

In an earlier report by YEN.com.gh, he was said to have canceled a movie project he was embarking on in Los Angeles to rush to Maryland, where the wife was murdered.
