Emilia Clarke shares personal photos from hospital after life-threatening aneurysms

Emilia Clarke plays one of the baddest bitches on TV - Daenerys Targaryen, mother of dragons and potential ruler of the Iron Throne.

She spent a month in hospital after the initial surgery and later returned to set to film Game of Thrones season two, but was told she had a second aneurysm which could lie dormant or burst at any time.

While speaking about what she went through on CBS Sunday Morning, Emilia shared some pictures from her time in hospital, showing her lying in her hospital bed in one picture and with a medical tube attached to her head in another.

Emilia Clarke has shared never-before-seen photos from her traumatic hospitalisation, after opening up about how she had survived two brain aneurysms.

"If a part of your brain doesn't get blood to it for a minute, it will just no longer work".

"What if something has short circuited my brain and I can't act anymore".

Romelu Lukaku has point to prove against Umtiti when United face Barcelona
United are the underdogs for the Barcelona tie but Solskjaer, who oversaw a stunning comeback victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the last round, is confident.

Her appearance on Sunday Morning comes a few days after she outlined her despair and recovery in a powerful essay for The New Yorker.

She was diagnosed with a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a life-threatening type of stroke, which was caused by a brain aneurysm. But two years after the first blood vessel burst, a second ruptured in her brain, almost killing her.

One third of people die from the specific type of stroke she was experiencing.

Clarke also revealed that she was terrified that she'd lost the ability to act. So they literally were looking at my brain going 'well we think it could be her concentration, it could be her peripheral vision'.

As for the hard recovery process, she admitted, "I mean, the first time it was hard".

"I always say it's my taste in men", she joked.

"You go to work and you play a badass and you walk through fire, and that became the thing that just saved me from just considering my own mortality".
