You can now stream Apple Music on your Amazon Fire TV

Amazon Fire TV finally gets Apple Music streaming

Late past year, Amazon Echo smartspeakers started being able to stream Apple Music. Amazon also announced the availability of the Apple Music skill will expand to include the United Kingdom for Fire TV and Echo devices in the "coming weeks". "Simply enable the Apple Music skill in the Alexa app and link your account to start listening".

To access Apple Music on your Fire TV just ask "Alexa, play today's hits on Apple Music" or "Alexa, play music by Bebe Rexha on Apple Music". However, they don't need to activate the skill on their Amazon Fire TV if they have already done that on their Amazon Echo.

Being an Amazon Prime member is much like knowing the bouncer at the club.

You can choose Apple Music as the default music provider for Alexa, if desired.

Tottenham face Manchester City in Champions League quarter-finals
I love what I do, I think I have a fantastic team out there, and that's all that I need to be a happy person. Manchester City have already won the Carabao Cup for a second successive campaign.

Meanwhile, several Amazon Fire TVs earned our coveted Editors' Choice recommendation, including the Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Stick 4K, and budget-friendly Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote. Apparently, Apple is also looking to finalize a deal with Roku, a USA manufacturer of digital media players that allow access to internet streamed audio or video services through TVs.

All of the above offer access to thousands of apps and games, and nearly every streaming service you could want, while the latest generations provide extra goodies like 4K streaming and Alexa-powered voice search.

Same reason iTunes is coming to Samsung televisions, and Airplay 2 to LG, Sony, and Vizio sets.

Google Home units previously made their platform available for Apple Music, but it was only for a brief period of time. While new subscribers get a three-month free trial, the service does require a $9.99 monthly subscription.
