In the TMZ article, an unnamed Jackson family source said the supposed suicide attempt was a result of the fallout over the recent HBO documentary Leaving Neverland, which includes graphic allegations of repeated sexual abuse of minors by the late pop superstar.

While TMZ is facing backlash from its initial report, People does note that a public information officer with the Los Angeles Police Department revealed that police were called to Jackson's address to respond to calls of an attempted suicide.

A source close to Paris tells ET that she had an accident at her home Saturday morning that required medical treatment and a brief hospitalization.

"F**k you f**king liars", she wrote.
