R. Kelly appears in Chicago court for child support case

Last week, the young women spoke out in their first joint interview since the airing of Surviving R. Kelly. Kelly asked Azriel Clary to join him on tour and they ultimately obliged, even though they were wary.

"After furiously searching for her at the hotel, she fired back: "'This was an audition. Azriel Clary accused her parents of forcing her to sing and using her as bait to blackmail Kelly.

Indeed the Clarys claimed that when they initially gave permission for Azriel to tour with Kelly, she was supposed to be chaperoned by a Sony employee named Valerie Payton. who they claim to have "found out later on that she works for R. Kelly".

"I don't wanna call her bluff on it because I know she just attempted this previously", Alice Clary said, noting Azriel Clary's former suicide attempt following a bad breakup.

Though the couple said they were always anxious about their daughter, they said they were often assured by several women in Kelly's camp that Azriel was in "good hands".

Gayle King had a dramatic interview with R. Kelly, his two girlfriends and now one of the girlfriends' parents. The permission was granted for a woman named Valerie Marie Payton, whom they allege Kelly said was a representative of his music label, Sony.

Derry awaits decision on 1972 killings — Bloody Sunday
The charges under consideration included murder, attempted murder and causing grievous bodily injury with intent to endanger life. Eighteen ex-paratroopers have been reported to the Public Prosecution Service over the 1972 killings.

King then pointed out the obvious. "You don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure that out", Greenberg said.

"So you're saying you trusted her", King said, as Mr. Clary conceded.

"I didn't trust him". That's all I can say right now. "And this was strictly her music", Angelo said. See, I've been through that.

"If what you're alleging is true, how is he able to get away with this for this for this period of time?" We sat with him in his studio. Angelo added: "He's the problem. Do you take any responsibility for this situation that you're in?"

"I promise, we will straighten this out", Kelly told reporters after he was released from jail. "I feel like I failed my daughter because I should have saw different signs".

"I should have saw the change in my baby girl instead of the love that we instilled in her, that she was showing us and putting on a charade". Both women became very emotional defending the 52-year-old.
