Kyle Busch celebrates ISM win with burnout

Kyle Busch has won the NASCAR Cup Series race at ISM Raceway, tracking down Ryan Blaney over a long green-flag run and passing for the lead with 16 laps to go to complete a weekend sweep near Phoenix.

This puts Busch in a class of his own to start the 2019 Cup series, as he i the only driver to finish all four races in the top 10 so far this season.

Last weekend in Las Vegas, Busch won both the Truck Series and Xfinity races to set up the potential for a rare three-race sweep - a feat only he has accomplished, doing so twice at Bristol during his career. Busch chased down pole-sitter Ryan Blaney over the final green-flag run while the two drivers tried to save enough fuel to reach the end of the race.

Aric Almirola of Stewart-Haas Racing and Hamlin rounded out the top five. "You've got to race hard first and worry about fuel afterwards". "After we got passed for the lead, it was just full on fuel-saving mode".

For Kyle Busch, he's not anxious about the numbers just yet, he's more interested in dishing out praise for those that helped get him to this point.

"It not for me to worry about; it's for everybody else to talk about and discuss and argue over", Busch said.

Brexit backstop legal risk unchanged, says UK AG
The papers include a "unilateral declaration" setting out how the United Kingdom believes it can escape the backstop. The search for an exit deal that can successfully pass through parliament reaches its moment of truth on Tuesday.

After giving up the lead, Blaney fell to third while he saved fuel.

As happy as Busch was with the win, he also gave himself some grief because it could easily have given him a second straight weekend sweep.

Truex finished second while Blaney who led 94 laps settled for third. He was a nose ahead of Blaney at the line and was given a pass-through penalty, and he spent the rest of the first segment working his way back through the field.

Michael McDowell's weekend began with a qualifying scuffle with Daniel Suarez, and it ended early in the final stage when teammate David Ragan knocked him from behind and he ended up in the wall.

Busch made his move following a restart on Lap 239 of the 312-lap race.
