Diana Ross Wishes Herself a Happy 75th Birthday

Diana Ross steals the stage at the Grammys

The Motown legend was celebrating her 75th birthday early at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, and her 9-year-old grandson Raif-Henok Emmanuel Kendrick got the honor of introducing her. "Happy Birthday to Me!" she exclaimed after concluding the performance. "I'm nearly 4-foot-9", the youngster mused.

Shortly after, she segued into "Reach Out and Touch", embracing the crowd as she made her way towards the middle stage while also calling for unity among her peers and fans - including Jaden Smith.

In what was perhaps one of the most inspirational and jovial performances of the night, Ross celebrated music and urged the crowd to hold their arms up in the air to help shift around the energy in the room for her. "There's only success ahead, and you can lead the way".
