The 19-year-old woman wanted for throwing a chair off a downtown Toronto condo balcony has surrendered to Toronto Police.

After a brief appearance in court this afternoon, Toronto's alleged chair thrower Marcella Zoia has been released on $2000 bail with a court date set for March.

Marcella Zoia, of Toronto, faces charges in the disturbing incident that was captured on video and posted to social media, drawing outrage from across the city.

Authorities said other objects were allegedly thrown off the balcony, including a second chair.

The chairs landed near the front entrance of the towering condo. This being a case where no one was injured, we didn't have any public safety concerns.
