"Mr. Abraham-Joseph has been continuously physically present in the United States for nearly 20 years, except for a brief visit overseas", his lawyers said. The "Bank Account" rapper was granted bail on Tuesday and is now resting at home with his family pending an immigration court hearing.

Attorneys Kuck, Dina LaPolt and Alex Spiro issued a statement on behalf of 21 Savage that thanked his supporters.

On Tuesday, 21 Savage's lawyers also passed on a message to the young rapper's fans, saying that while he was not at Sunday's Grammys Awards - "he was there in spirit and is grateful for the support from around the world".

21 Savage was nominated for two Grammy awards for featuring on Post Malone's hit song "Rockstar". 21 Savage apparently had a visa permit pending for four years before he reapplied for U Visa in 2017.

Theresa May asks MPs for more time on Brexit
The move exemplifies bureaucratic hassles that non-EU countries like Switzerland face in adapting to a no-deal Brexit scenario. A senior member of the European parliament later ramped up the rhetoric, comparing pro-Brexit MPs to French revolutionaries.

Unfortunately, Mr. Abraham-Joseph, who turned out to be an illegal immigrant from the United Kingdom, wasn't able to make it to the Grammy Awards.

U Visas are given to non-citizen victims of crime who intend to co-operate with United States authorities.

The entertainer, whose real name is Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, was arrested on February 2 by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents over accusations he had overstayed his visa by more than a decade. That application is pending, his attorneys said. And asks for your hearts and minds to be with them'. The news came was a surprise to those familiar with the rapper's career, widely seen as inextricable from the Atlanta rap scene where he first found fame.

He announced a "21 Savage Bank Account" campaign previous year that gave 21 teens $1,000 to start their own bank accounts and learn about financial literacy. He was convicted of federal drug charges in 2014, which ICE cited as part of his arrest.
